Q) Predict why kulhads were replaced by paper cups. ( detailed answer please )

There are two main reasons why kulhads have been discontinued nowadays. They are as follows:

 

a. Kulhada are made of clay. Clay soil is fertile soil. Using of clay soil in large scale result in the loss of soil fertility. 

 

b. Kulhads cannot be re-used or recycled. Moreover, while making kulhads large amount of wood and coal is used. So the process is not economic.
