Acc. to property of kite,
one pair of opposite angles will be equal, that is non vertex angles.
Here, y = 148⁰ as they are non vertex angles..... (i)
Whereas x and 47⁰ are vertex angle.
Now, from sum property of quadrilateral,
x + 47⁰ + 148⁰ + y = 360⁰
x + 47⁰ + 148⁰ + 148⁰ = 360⁰ Using (i)
x = 360⁰ - 343⁰ 
x = 17⁰
