A reflexive pronoun is used in a sentence when an action done by a subject reflects or turns back upon the subject. They are usually used as the object of the verb. They refer to the same person or thing that is denoted by the subject of the verb.

Example. I was talking to myself. 
In this example, the reflexive pronoun 'myself' reflects on the subject 'I'.
