simplicity of gases is due to the fact that the forces of interaction between their molecules are negligible. Explain

This statement means that the ideal gas behaviour of gases is due to the fact that we do not take into account that gaseous molecules can interact with each other. But we see that gases deviate from ideal behaviour. That is in gaseous state molecules interact with each other either through Van der wall forces or Hydrogen bonding. And due to this, ideal pressure and volume of the gas is effected and we take into account the volume of gaseous molecules along with the volume of container. And due to the interactions between the molecules, pressure is also effected. And then we use real gas situation which is complex.

To avoid complex equations,we assume that forces of attraction between the molecules is negligible.
