correct answer is a)
but i am confused that why we can't take c) ??????????

Hi, We cannot take c because inequality is y<0 that restrict that we cannot take points on x -axis that are y = 0 because here we are clearly mentioned that y<0
The option c was correct when question was asked that set of inequality y≤0
Here y = 0 is included
