Here, 3x + 5y = 12----(1)
  
        5x + 4y = 14----(2)
Now, on multiplication of equations (1) and (2) with 5 and 3, we obtain:
          15x + 25y = 60----(3) 
          15x + 12y = 42----(4) 
Now, on Subtracting equation (4) from (30, we obtain the following result
                             13y  =  18
                    =>        y =  (18 / 13)
Now, on substituting the value of y in equation (1), we get:
             3x + 5(18/13) = 12
        =>    3x  =  12 - (90/13)
        =>     x  =   66 / (13*3)
        =>     x  =   22 / 13
