The examples for Thallophyta include the Algae like Ulothrix, Cladophora, chara, Fungi, Lichens etc.

Pteridophytes are the first terrestrial plants to posses vascular tissues (Xylem and phloem). It includes horsetails and ferns. Few examples of pteridophytes are Salagenella, Equisetum etc.

Examples of Monocots:- Wheat, Rice, Bamboo, Barley, Sorghum, Sugarcane, Ginger, Onion, garlic, coconut etc.
