solve : x2-8x + 1280=0

i think it should be x² - 8x - 1280 =0

if it is so then the answer will be -

x² - 8x -1280 = 0

x² +32x -40x -1280 =0

x(x +32) -40(x +32) =0

(x+32) (x-40) =0

.^.. x = 40 and -32
