sounds produced by girls are shrill than that of boys.why?

For shrillness or flatness of a sound we refer pitch of the sound. And pitch depends on the frequency.

If the pitch is high the sound will be shrill like females have shrill sound. And, if the pitch is low the sound will be flat or less shrill like males have heavy or flat sound.

you know that sound is produced by human beings by vibration of vocal chords . In boys vocal chords are large so they have loud voice but pitch is less . In girls vocal chors are small so their voice is highly pitched (shrill)  and lodness is less.
