The rule used to determine the direction of force experienced by a current carrying conductor in a magnetic field is Flemings Left Hand Rule.
(i) Doubling the magnitude of current, will double the force acting on the current carrying conductor because the force is directly proportional to the magnitude of current.
(ii) Reversing the direction of current flow will reverse the direction in which force acts.
