State true or false:-
Molecular movement does not take place in cells.

Dear student,
Please find below the answer:

The given statement is false.
Molecular movements are those movements that we cannot observe from naked eyes but play an important role in all life processes. For example, the break down of water molecules during the process of photosynthesis, the release of energy from a glucose molecule, movement of solute molecules to regulate stomatal closure & opening. All these are examples of molecular movement which regulate important functions like respiration, photosynthesis, etc.

Molecular movement is maintained by a number of process such as diffusion, channels, electrochemical gradient, osmosis, etc.

Hope this clears your doubt.
Regards.
