THE DISC OF A CHARGED ELECTROSCOPE IS CONNECTED TO THE DISC OF ANOTHER UNCHARGED ELECTROSCOPE WITH A CONDUCTING WIRE. EXPLAIN WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO THE LEAVES OF BOTH THE ELECTROSCOPE ?
When two disc are connected with the conducting wire then there will a transfer of charge from charge disc to another uncharged disc until their potential becomes equal, so both will have charge with equal magnitude and equal sign, there will be a force of repulsion between the leaves of the discs.
