if one side of the parallelogram is 12 cm ,then its opposite side is also 12 cm

and the perimeter of a parallelogram is 60 cm  ,so let other two opposite sides be x (as they are also equal)

 perimeter of a parallelogram = 60 cm

24 + 2x =60

2x=60 - 24

2x  = 36
