The Pressure (P) exerted by a liquid (here water) in a container of height (or depth h) and density (ρ) is 

   P = hρg

as per the question

h = 2m

ρ = 103 kg/m3

g = 9.8 m/s

by putting the values, the calculated pressure would be

  P = 19.6 X 103 Pa or 1.96 X 104 Pa

which would be option (D).
