So the marks awarded to Tanya by submitting the assignment on Monday = $2\times 3 = 6$
And one time she submit on Tuesday.
So marks reduced to Tanya for late submission = -1
Therefore net marks awarded to Tanya = 6 +(- 1) = 5 marks
2) Assignment submitted by Vivek on Monday is once.
So the marks awarded to Vivek by submitting the assignment on Monday = $2\times 1 = 2$
And three times he submit on Tuesday.
So marks given to Vivek for late submission = -1$\times$3 = -3
Therefore net marks awarded to Vivek = 2 - 3 = -1 marks
