Let a, b and c be the sides of ∆
Now, a + b = 52   
1and a - b = 8   
2Adding 1 and 2, we get     2a = 60⇒a = 602 = 30now, from 1, we get30 + b = 52⇒b = 52 - 30⇒b = 22 Now, c = 36semi perimeter = s = a+b+c2 = 30 + 22 + 362 = 882 = 44 cmNow, area = ss-as-bs-c=4444-3044-2244-36=44×14×22×8=2×2×11×2×7×2×11×2×2×2=2×2×2×1114=8814 cm2
