Let the length of rectangular solid = lLet the breadth of solid = bLet the height of solid = hWe have area of 3 adjacent faces of cuboid as 4 cm2, 8 cm2 and 18 cm2
So, l × b = 4    
1      b × h = 8    
2      h × l = 18   
3Multiplying the above 3 equations, we getl2b2h2 = 4×8×18⇒lbh = 4×8×18⇒lbh = 2×2×2×2×2×2×3×3⇒volume of solid = lbh = 2×2×2×3 cm3 = 24 cm3
