The volume of a spere is 4851cm^3. How much should its radius be reduced so that its volume become 43123cm
Answer fast today is my test

Hello Vaishnavi dear, volume of sphere 4/3 π r^3 = 4851
==> R^3 = 4851 *3/4 * 7/22 = 441 * 3/4 * 7/2 = 21 * 21 * 21 / 8 = (21/2)^3
==> R= 21/2 cm
Volume of new sphere = 4312/3 cm^3
==> 4/3 * π  * r^3 = 4312/3
So r^3 = 4312/3 * 3/4 * 7/22 = 392 * 1/4 * 7/2 = 49  * 7 = 7^3
Thus r = 7 cm
Hence differece = 10.5 - 7 = 3.5 cm
Radius is to be reduced by 3.5 cm so as to get new volume 4312 / 3 cm^
