This year on 28th January 2018, I had attended the JMO {Junior Mathematic Olympiad}.
In that olympiad, I had to face the following question. But, I find it difficult to solve.  So please solve that question.  {Please don't say that this is not of my syllabus.
Q.7. In the mathematics Olympiad Examination small silver stars were awarded to some top distinct scorers. All stars are of same weight. One gets the number of stars which is half the number of the stars with his or her predecessor. The lowest ranker got 1 star and the topper got 850 gm of silver.
