Two points having same abscissa and different ordinates lie in .....................

a) X axis

b) Y axis

c) a line parallel to Y axis

d) a line parallel to X axis

This will  lie in a line parallel to Y-axis as abscissa is same means x coordinate  is same only y - co ordinate is different .

c) a line parallel to Y axis

For example, take the points (2,-4) and (2,3) where the abscissa is the same in both the sets but the ordinates are different. Now plot the points on the graph. You will see that the points lie parallel to Y axis.

You could also take other points such as:

(a) (-3,5) (-3,2)

(b) (5,4) (5,-2)

I hope the answer was helpful.... If so plz thumbs up for my answer. . . . ThanQ. . . . :)
