The liver is divided into four lobes. There are two additional lobes between the right and left. These are:

• The caudate lobe (the more superior) and
• The quadrate lobe (the more inferior). These lobes does not have specialised function.

Gall bladder is a small organ that aids digestion and stores bile produced by the liver.
