Clay, Silt and Sand are the different types of rock particles present in the soil,
Clay is a type of soil which is fine, smooth and can be moulded into any shape. Clay minerals are composed of chemicals that are known as phyllosilicates, sometimes there is variable amounts of iron, magnesium, alkali metals etc.
Silt is the alluvium deposited by rivers. Rivers collect soil and other fine particles in their coarse through the mountains. This gets deposited on slope of the mountain ,thereby forming plain.
Sand is the granular material consisting of finely divided rock and mineral particles, silicon dioxide, SiO2 present in the soil.
