What are the difficulties in using ground based optical telescope

Dear Student
The difficulties faced in using ground based telescopes are:
1. Intensity of light rays reaching the Earth's surface decreases as some of the light is absorbed by the atmosphere.
2. The change in atmospheric pressure and temperature causes the light rays to changes its path slightly and thus shake the position of image.
3. It can be used during day because of sunlight.
4. In night city light and weather hindrance in observing the heavenly bodies.
