 power sharing  consumes a lot of time in decision making.

but the advantage is that the decision taken is better than the decision taken by a single person as when a lot of people are involved in taking a decision then different  ideas relating to the decision comes and keeping in mind the problems and usefulness a better decision is taken

The disadvantages of power sharing are:

1. Overlapping of work, leading to confusion.

2. High budget, as many people are required to govern different spheres, thus expensive government.

3. Overlapping roles lead to corruption.

4. Unnecessary competition in different regions.

5. It leads to the widening of gap between rich and poor states.

1. It leads to a feeling between citizens that the sharing of power leads to division of power which makes a country more weaker than it would be if power rested in one hand.2. It also leads to misunderstanding between the coucil of various organs.3. It also leads to a thinking that it pose a risk to nation's unity.4. It also sometimes leads to conflict between two states, two districts or even two cities or locality.Hope it helps!

please......thumbs up...

THERE ARE THREE POINTS WHICH I CAN TELL;

1. LEADS TO SLOW DECISION MAKING
2.LEADS TO DIFFERENCE IN OPINION BETWEEN TWO GOVT
3 POWER SHOULD REST IN ONE HAND SO POWER SHARING LEADS TO A CONFUSION BETWEEN THE GOVT

What I think that -
In power sharing, power is divided into many organs of government, various levels of goverment, among differnt social groups. This involve a lot of people in it which makes the top most head like PM less focss on everyone. And there is lot of chances of corruption too.As also there is no interference b/w two organs so this makes the one government do whatever in his organisation.
