Evaporation is the process in which a liquid gets converted into gas. It is a surface phenomenon.
The evaporation depend on the following factors:
Humidity:- More the humidity less the evaporation.
Example : The clothes does not get easy dry on a humid day.
Surface area:- More the surface area more the evaporation.
Example: If we increase the surface area of a clothes then the evaporation takes place very easily.
Temperature:- More the temperature more the evaporation.
In a sunny day clothes get easily dry.
Wind speed:- Increased wind speed means more evaporation.
On a windy day clothes get easily dry.
