what are the two types of organs systems found in plants?describe their important functions and modifications,if any

Dear student,
Two organ systems found in plants are root system and shoot system. Shoot system includes vegetative part (stem and leaves) and reproductive parts (flowers and fruits). Shoot system performs photosynthesis. Root system performs absorption of water and minerals from the ground. In some plants roots are modified for storage of food like sweet potato and carrot etc. Stem is modified in some plants to form rhizome in ginger and ferns etc.

Vascular plants have two distinct organ systems: a shoot system and a root system . The shoot system consists of two portions: the vegetative (non-reproductive) parts of the plant, such as the leaves and the stems; and the reproductive parts of the plant, which include flowers and fruits.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU FRIEND....
