What arrangements did gandhiji make before reaching champaran?
Gandhiji before going to Champaran proceedwd to the nearby village called Muzzarfarpur to get more information than what Rajkumar Shukla was able to impart on him.
He informed about his arrival to professor kripalani of the arts college in Muzzarfarpur whim Gandhiji has met in Tagore Shantiniketan school. On 15 the April the train arrives and the railway station was thronged with 1000 students who have come there to receive Gandhiji. He stayed in professor Malkani house who is government school teacher and conducted enquiry . Gandhiji commented that "it was extraordinary in those days to harbour man like me. The people on smaller localities are afraid to show sympathy on the advocates of home rule."
