WHAT IS CHANCE ?????

Dear Student!

Chance is the unknown and unpredictable element in the occurrence of an experiment. The chance is the probability of happening of an event.

Suppose a die is thrown a number of times. There is no fixed pattern in the occurrence of a number on the face of the die.When a die is thrown each time, the outcome of every throw can be either a number 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6. It is just the matter of chance, that in a particular throw that you get either of the numbers.
