The major difference between the two is that chemotactic movement is related to movement while as chemotropic movement is related to the growth.

Hence, 
Chemotactic movement is the movement of an organism towards or away from the chemical stimulus. For example, single celled organisms like bacteria direct their movement away or towards various chemicals.

Chemotropic movement is growth of an organism or its part in response to the chemical stimulus. For example, growth of pollen tube towards the ovule present in ovary.
