What is difference between connectors and conjunctions ?? Please answer

Connectors and conjunctions differ in their scopes. In a sense, connector is a broader term that includes conjunctions as well.

Conjunctions are used to combine two nouns, independent clauses, sentences or group of words, which are usually of equal importance.

Example. A boy and a girl

Connectors are used to connect a dependent clause to the main clause or to connect ideas; they are used to connect ideas or content of two sentences. Examples: although, whenever, after, before, unless, etc.
