what is difference between cytosol, cytoplasm, protoplasm and protoplast?????????

The cytoplasm is the inner content of the cell membrane, which is separated from the nucleus. It includes cytosol, organelles, and inclusions while cytosol is a soft and sticky, semi-transparent fluid in which various cell organelles are suspended. In other words cytosol is that part of cytoplasm that does not include the part of cytoplasm that is found inside organelles.

The cytoplasm along with the cellular organelles is called protoplasm i.e., protoplasm = Cytoplasm + nucleus. It does not include cell membrane or cell wall.

Protoplast is the living part of cell and does not include the cell wall. Protoplast= cell membrane + cytoplasm + nucleus
