What is difference between endemic species and extinct species?

Endemic species
Extinct species

They are those which are restricted only to a particular area,
these species are not for common people
They are those which are ended and cannot find it on thier
particular area they are generally ended by human poaching, or
weather changed, or by some natural calamities

If a person wants to buy, he has to get license first
A person cannot buy as it is not present anymore

Example :
lemurs of Madagascar and the tortoises of the Galápagos can
be found only in that respective location
Example: Dodo and Woolly mammoth are extinct species
