- Saprotrophs - A Saprotroph (or Saprobe) is an organism that gets its energy from non-living organic matter. This may be decaying pieces of plants or animals.
- Parasite - An animal or plant that lives in or on an organism (another animal or plant); it obtains nourishment from the host without benefiting or killing the host.
saprotrophs are organisms, thgat depend directly nor indirectly on dead and decayed organic matter, for their food. example is, bread oand fungi.
parasites are plants, that connect their root system to the host plant and derive their food. this brings a great problem in the horticulture industry
