Geotropism is a plant growth or movement in response to gravity. Upward growth of the plant's parts against gravity is called negative geotropism, whilst downward growth of roots is called positive geotropism.

geotropism- it is a plant movement in direction of gravity.

the movement of plants towards gravity is positive geotropism that is roots of the plant.

and the movement against the gravity is negative geotropism that is shoot of the plants.
