What is Glisson's capsule???

Glisson's capsule is found in Liver. It is a thin connective tissue layer that acts as a sheath, and covers each hepatic lobule.
It is the characteristic feature of mammalian Liver.
Functions: protection of liver and ensheathes the hepatic artery, portal vein, and bile ducts within the liver.
