What is ice point and what is steam point?

Ice point refers to the freezing point if water - equal to 0°C (32°F), at which pure water and ice are in equilibrium.

Steam point refers to the boiling point of pure water - 100 degree celsius at which water and vapour are in equilibrium.

0 degree celsius correspond to the temperature of pure melting ice and it is called the lower standard point.

100 degree celsius corresponds to the temperature of pure water boiling( steam point).

0 Degree celceius is the Freezing point of water which means the point of temperature where water changes it's state from liquid to solid(water to ice).

Wheras 100 degree celcius is the boiling point of water where water changes it's state from liquid to gas(water to water vapour).
