what is linear pair?

Linear pair of angles refers to thost angles who have a common arm and they are on the same line.

 IN THE FIGURE, ANGLE A AND B ADD UP TO 180 DEGREE SO THEY FORM A LINEAR PAIR

  IF a straight  line is divided by a line then the angle is divided into 2 parts .there fore when we add that angle it must be 180' .It is known as linear pair angle (L.P.A)

If the sum of two angle is 180' then its angle is called linear pair

If two angles are adjacent and supplementary, i.e. if their sum equals 180 degrees they are called a Linear Pair

if the sum of two angles is 180⁰ they called linear pair

the two angles which form a 180 degree angle is called a linear pair
