what is meant by FADH2 and NADH2 in bioenegetics???what r its functions?
FADH2 and NADH2 are the reduced forms of FAD & NAD. FAD is Flavin Adenine Dinucleotide and NAD is Nicotinamide-Adenine Dinucleotide. These are produced during citric acid cycle. NAD is obtained from Vit B3 Niacin & FAD from VITAMIN B2 Riboflavin.
