what is polar vector and axial vector?

Hi,
Polar vectors are used to describe translational motion. These are those which have starting point. Example-displacement, force, velocity etc.

Axial vectors are used to describe rotational motion. These are those which represent rotational effect and act along the axis of rotation according to Right Hand Screw Rule. Example- Angular velocity, torque etc.

The actual difference in these two types of vectors is observed when coordinate transformation is done. You will be studying about it in your higher grades.

Hope this helps,
Good luck.
