what is raeson for passivevoice

Dear Student,

The voice of a verb represents the relationship between the action being described by it on the one hand and the subject and the object on the other. Voices are of two types:

Active Voice : When the subject is the doer of the aciton, then the verb is in the active voice. Example: Roma bought a car (Here, Roma is the 'subject' and 'car' is the object. Since the subject is the doer of the action, the verb is in the active voice)

Passive Voice: When the subject is the receiver of the action, then the verb is in the passive voice. Example: The car was bought by Roma (Here, 'the car' is the subject and 'Roma' is the object. Since the subject is the receiver of the action, the verb is in the passive voice)

Passive voice is more important in situations in which the receiver of an action is more significant than the doer of the action.

Best wishes!
