what is reflection and translation symmetry pls explain with examples

Reflection symmetry is symmetry with respect to reflection. That is, a figure which does not change upon undergoing a reflection has reflectional symmetry.

A shape exhibits translational symmetry if displacement in some direction - horizontal or vertical returns the shape to (approximately) its original configuration.

A brick wall is a familiar example of Translational symmetry.
