what is self pollination?what's the difference between self pollination and cross pollination?

 Hi,

@ Omkar: You can refer to the answer provided by santosh for your first question.

Self pollination: It occurs in bisexual flowers. It is of two types:
Cross pollination: It can occur in both unisexual and bisexual flowers.
In this type of pollination, pollen is transferred from the anther of one flower of one plant to stigma of another flower of another plant.

@ Santosh: Great answer, we really appreciate your contributions to this forum. Keep posting answers!!
