what is the additive inverse of -a/b

and

what would be the additive inverse of say -5/7

pls ans fast

The additive inverse of -a/b is a/b

AND

The additive inverse of -5/7 is 5/7.

The additive inverse of a number a is the number that, when added to a , yields zero.Additive Inverse of a Number: The opposite of a number. For example, the additive inverse of 12 is -12. Example: The additive inverse of -5 is 5, because -5 + 5 = 0.

Additive inverse means we should add a number to make it zero.

So in these expressions,

1. Additive inverse of -a/b = a/b(as -a/b +a/b =0)

2.  Additive inverse of -5/7 = 5/7(as -5/7 +5/7=0)

Remember that if a number is positive  then make it negative , if  it is negative ,make it positive!

Hope this helsp!!!!
