When the work done is positive then , angle between force and displacement is $\theta =0°$  ,
$W= F·s= Fs \cos \theta =Fs \cos 0°=Fs=+ve$
When the work done is negative then the angle between force and displacement is , $\theta =180°$ ,
$W= F·s= Fs \cos \theta =Fs \cos 180°=-Fs=-ve$
When the work done is zero then the angle between the force and displacement is , $\theta =90°$ ,
$W= F·s= Fs \cos \theta =Fs \cos 90°=0$
