what is the difference between combing and ginning??

From the cotton bolls, cotton is usually picked by hand. Fibres are then separated from the seeds by combing. This process is called ginning of cotton. 

The process of separation of fibres from seeds with the help of comb is called ginning. There is no difference as such between them.
