What is the difference between insulator and resistor?

An insulator is a material which doesn't conduct electricity, ie, it doesn't allow the flow of electrons to flow through it. A resistor, however, is a device which simply provides resistance to the flow of electrons.
Hope it helps!

Hey Frnd here is your answer:

These following points will give u the difference between Resistor and an insulator:

Resistor is a device that opposes the flow of electrons but an insulator do not allow electrons to flow.
Resistor can offer various resistance can be low or high but Insulator posses a high resistance.
