What is the difference between reflexive pronoun and emphatic pronoun?

Reflexive pronouns are often used as objects of verb when the action is made by the subject/doer.
For example- Ram hurt himself.

Emphatic pronouns are used to stress on the noun or the pronoun which is the subject of a sentence.
For example- They themselves fixed the water slide.

The difference in both the pronouns is that an emphatic pronoun can be removed from the sentence, whereas the reflexive pronoun cannot be removed because it gives meaning to the sentence.
For example- They fixed the water slide. ('themselves' is removed)
Ram hurt?! (after removing 'himself', the sentence doesn't make any sense)
