What is the main function of the electricity bulb provided in the aquarium?

How are the plants of the aquarium getting carbon dioxide to prepare their food?

2. When any organic material such as  leaves, dead animals rot or decompose or when calcium carbonate rocks undergoes weathering,  release of carbon dioxide occur in the ocean .
