What is the meaning of nature of substance in the definition? ( don't tell meaning of identity tell about nature)

Dear student,

Nature of the substance means the acidic or basic nature. Suppose a substance initially is acidic in nature but when it left exposed to air it changes into basic nature. And the identity of the substance means whatever the substance is in initial is no longer present after it get exposed to air or during any chemical reaction.
