What is the meaning of this paragraph

Dear Student,
Indian Democracy is an earned democracy. We earned this democracy. It wasn't always that people were part of a democracy. Millions of people fought to bring order and democracy into the Imperialistic Colonised India.
Since it was not 100 people or 300 people who fought for democracy but the whole of India fought for freedom, it'd be unfair if people's opinions were not taken into considerations.
Thus, we have a representative democracy, where millions of people vote for a representative candidate who works for them.
Thus for equality, freedom, liberty and participation of democracy to work, the People must be given the Right to vote.
People of India have been fighting for the right to vote since the 1880s. The British were oppressive of this right and didn't take into consideration the opinions and problems of millions of Indians.
Regards
